A gay man ground naked along a California highway told sheriff's officers in succession February 11 that he had been abducted at knifepoint, limit gagged, and sexually assaulted. Within hours, however, Benson Carroll's story began to unravel. The alleged assailant told sheriff's officials that after he had consensual sex with Carroll at a motel Carroll asked to be border gagged, and left by a rivulet Why? Carroll didn't want his boyfriend to know where he had been. For the Santa Clara shire district attorney's office, however, it's more than a domestic matter.
