The pitch: end a twist of fate, a grown-up Bruce Willis confronts his 8-year-old self, and the child within is unimpressed.

The reason we care: Bruce's assistant in the film is played by dint of Lily Tomlin-Lily Tomlin--and who better knows her inner child?

The inside scoop: While director Turtletaub (Phenomenon) is a Hollywood staple, he admits that he was "really intimidated" meeting Tomlin. "I had seen her one-woman point out and had never seen anything in the same manner brilliant," he says. "But Lily made it really easy because she was warm and kind, which made me not in like manner nervous."
